About Bill Starkey
A resident of Montgomery, Texas, Bill Starkey spent more than 35 years leading Starkey Construction as CEO. Through the Waxahachie-based company, he built schools, churches, hospitals, and high-end custom homes for clients. Passionate about building green, he implemented numerous energy, water, and materials efficiency efforts at his business, along with indoor environmental quality enhancement efforts. Montgomery’s Bill Starkey also promoted the inclusion of renewable energy sources in custom homes, such as solar energy panels, and encouraged consideration of quality of life and environment when it came to the design and operation of a structure. Furthermore, as CEO, he oversaw all operations and maintenance optimization efforts at his company.

There are four ovens found in an indoor/outdoor setting, along with three additional ovens in the main kitchen. Though unconventional, these extra ovens come in handy when Wood and his wife host friends or charity events.
